Banteer NS team of Ben Vicaire, Tadhg Corrigan, Jack O Keeffe and Dylan Fiddes claimed the top prize of the Sharon O Keeffe Memorial Shield.
With over 50 teams, competition was high in the junior and senior categories and third place in the senior grade had to be decided with not just one but 3 tiebreaker questions which proved the standard of competition was high.
A special visitor made an appearance on the night delivering some early Easter treats and spread a great buzz across the hall.
A huge thank you to our chairperson Michelle and all the Dromtarriffe LGFA committee for their outstanding work and organisation leading up to the quiz and in the night. A special mention to John Tarrant who provided us with the questions, John Cronin our quizmaster and all the girls who helped at the door, raffle and the shop. Thanks to the O Keeffe family and Michael John for presenting the trophies in memory of Sharon and finally thanks to Dromtarriffe Hall for the use of their facilities.
